(face plam)i had that same problem as well...
Dunno if the system becomes confused - maybe it sees the brake sensor sending a singal yet you still picking up speed so the ESP system comes on to help out.
But yeah those switches goes - luckly cheap to replace
Nothing more annoying than having a warning light on your dash whilst driving (now if only i can remove my airbag warning light

)

Didn't want to start a new thread just for a question so I thought I'd just add on to this.
Luckily the clip has stayed in so I haven't had any more annoying warning lights apart from a temperature light when I got in it at 8:30a.m which soon went off (all water/oil is okay).
The question is where is a good place to buy injectors for the 9n3 GTi. Also which are good to buy?

Are you looking for replacements? Or are you going bigger turbo and therefore looking for bigger injectors?
If replacements why?

Thinking about going to the k04. Not really looked into it in great detail yet. Just something I've been thinking of.
Need to get myself a front mount or preferably just a bigger side mount first. Not a fan on the front mount look.
