Not a great deal really... 15in pirellis, -60mm shocks and springs, c/c'd bumpers. stainless exhaust, chip and air filter, and a votex grill..
I don't understand the roof box it doesn't make it look old school. It looks a bit out of place.
Who said I wanted it to look oldskool...
What about a chrome roof rack like many mk1s have, that woud look ok.
If I wanted to look like every other mk1 golf, or 'retro' wannabe, then that's what would be on there now. The box keeps stuff dry, a roof rack doesnt.
Have you tried a bike rack on the car out the back and bull bars on the front, might be a new idea, then a trailer. lol
I have put rear mounted bike racks on my Golf, and all they do is dent stuff... I have a Thule roof mounted bike rack for my bike... Or are you trying to be funny??

I dont have the box on the roof cos I'm a sheep following fashions..

I think his car would look naked without the roof box, coz I'm so used to seeing it with it on. It definately adds character to the car. I think he considered using those chrome racks, but decided against them in the end. Am I right, Rob?

EDIT: Doh! I didn't see the second page!
