Okay, still not chrystal clear to a dummy like me! Lol.
I see the red & black ( top left in black left side iso)wire that goes into the cars factory HU black plug. So do I connect
The aftermarket head units ignition wire to this?

There is an adaptor between the factory plug and the stero iso in the pics which you will need, saves chopping up anything you're not sure on. Only a couple of quid off amazon/eBay

Have you got a link to this adapter?

Im installing mine and did this, so I spliced yellow in and it worked but wouldnt remember memory

Any tips?

do it into the red, it should remember memory then, Gti_Red had this problem a bit earlier in the thread

I tried that but may of connected wrong wires

What should i be tapping red into

to blue so you should have yellow to yellow, blue to red and red to blue

yeah the other way is blue to blue and red to red? lol

hope the above pictures help a bit more, ive got yellow to yellow, blue to red and then red to blue, on the JVC harness this relates back to the yellow to the yellow, the blue to red relates back to the red and the red to blue goes to the blue and white cable

Couldnt get it figured

went to my local ICE and sorted it for me but joined cables to cables and went on a mad one lol

so couldnt tell ya what he did
