really fancy CF or black ceramic but nobody appears to manufacture.[/quote]
If you do find anywhere selling black ceramic exhaust tips please let us know. I'd love some.
Cheers

You can get the VW push on tips or other push on tips
Zircotec coated, click the distributors link to find who is nearest and get a quote. It does appear that liquid black in the performance finish is approx 3 times the price of the tips for a one off job, I won't be bothering.

If no one else posts a guide I'll write one up over the next few weeks covering how to do it, won't be able to test and reinstall all the trim panels, seats etc until the weekend now (subject to parts).
Update for anyone that fancies trying this all coded and the kit works but the rear fog doesn't any more. I suspect from reading through the BCM pin outs and .de forums that
pin 7 not pin 6 should have been used.
Code: Select all
A 6 - - Output Rear fog lamp (Only for vehicles with stop-start system)
A 7 1.5 wh / ye / ye Input signal switch for fog lights
Blah, back to strip all the bits out and rewire,
NOT impressed with the instructions on this kit at all.
