Hey Joe,

Thanks for your reply, i was looking into the the black chrome one's which are available in ET35, the polo is lowered yet…. I've seen you're running the H&R 25/40 kit… I'm so tempted about buying them….. but here in the netherlands they are hard to come by. So i'm thinking about ordering them in the UK. I saw some pictures of a guy in the uk;

Seems to fit for some or another reason, but can't find real details about it.

Thinking about getting them in ET35 and adding a spacer of 5mm that would bring the ET down to 30.
According to willtheyfit.com they will stick out 28,9mm compared to the original 17" wheels, which is still more then a inch!

Decided to use Autobrite Direct's Hd Snow Foam Lance

Used it with there much talked about Magifoam.

This was a Touch-less wash using a Karcher k3 series

Also blacked out the rear badge with white inserts.
& put the old plate on retention

Car looks real good buddy. Autobrite magifoam is awesome isn't it. That's all I wash my car with in the winter :)

How do you find the new powerflex bump stops? Would you say their less harsh than the originals? Just had to replace my rear shockers the other week with the ST Dampers and noticed my bump stops are fubard so need to buy some new ones.

Thanks mate, yea couldnt believe how good it is, especially in the winter when it just needs a quick one. gets it spotless!!

When i first fitted the powerflex bumpstops you could definately feel the extra firmness in the rear (abit too much for my liking) but after i cut them down about an inch it brings the car down and the ride is perfect at the back, feels like the standard ones (when they was in one piece at least) maybe a tad firmer but you hardly notice, feels nice and sturdy at the back now less bouncing around :D

Fully recommended but are too long if your lowered so cut abit off (1 segment) and there perfect :D hope this helps!

these are the ones i used:

remove the badge and seperate the vw emblem from the mounting - best way to get it perfect as they overhang each area slightly :D

Hey Joe,
I have question about the VWR CAI, how is it sound? I am afraid of to much noise....I do sometimes drive long distances so thats why.
Thank you for any reply. Jerry

Hi Jerry,
The VWR CAI is quiet when cruising on the motorway, its louder when pressing on through the revs!
If you have a GTI remove the sound actuator (basically pumps fake noise through the speakers) makes the cabin alot quieter and gives a proper sound of the engine/turbo/supercharger, Intake is more than recommended!!
