You need new doorcards from the faceliftet Polo.
I personally think it looks cheap.

Hi guys, haven't posted for a while and now I want to share what I have done during the last months.

First, we added some customisation to the headlights. It's a LED band right between the upper front grille and the headlight. Basically you cannot notice it when the car is parked, but it looks really nice when they are on. (at least I really like it )

I don't know if you have noticed, but I am a fan of the R-line models, so I am adding some small details on my car:

I gave the textile for sewing. Firstly I had to remove the foam inside:

Also I got a new lower front grille, looks so much better now:




I got a 2din screen to replace my original RCD310.

First you need to remove plastic cover, it has two small holes on the bottom, right above the AC




The cabling for each 2 din is different in my opinion, but fortunately everything works just fine!


Also I got a rear viewing camera, mounted right above the number plate:


The red line means 10cm between the rear bumper and the object:


After the rough winter I decided to go for polishing. Every time I am more and more amazed by the effect of this procedure, it's like magic....


The difference (of course that is under a particular angle and light, but WOW...)


The wheels are ready for the summer too

Right after the polishing we bought a new Karcher washer, K4 compact. If you are looking for a new washer, I definitely recommend that model:


Since last week my Polo also have new tyres: Continental ContiPremium Contact 5. 195/55R/15





NEXT:
1. I will probably lower the whole car with new springs. I am wondering BETWEEN H&R ( front 25mm; rear 40mm) Spring Kit for the 6R or the Volkswagen Racing (20-25mm front and rear) Spring Kit. I found a kit from Eibach (25-30mm) too, so that is also an option. Please leave your comments if you have experience with those products. What are the main differences (between those products) apart from the actual lowering? Also can you give me more info about the "stoppers" that I need to put on the coilovers,please?

2. Currently I am in Germany and I saw that rear bumper, I believe that's the ABT one. So I am starting to save money for this too...

Another great mod, with a great result I may say!
Sound Damping
Doors + boot are covered with foam and wadding.
The result is a brand new car! There is no road noise anymore and also the sound system sounds much much better now! You can hear the work of the suspension.
Definitely recommend this as a modification.

Stopping the road noise came mostly from wrapping the boot and the space around the spare wheel. The sound quality (much more bass) came from the door wrapping.
