Be aware that it is a VERY Expensive mod to get the folding mirrors... It's around €550 in parts alone...

I thought about doing it myself. But I thought that €550 for just adding one extra feature to the mirrors (no matter how cool it is) was a little to steap a price...

Yes, I know that the new folding mirrors are expensive, so I would buy a used mirrors.

I found 8 PIN VW Polo 6C 6R 5DV mirrors for 310 PLN apiece (its about 70 EUR / 78 USD / 54 GBP).
I think this is an acceptable price.

Why 10? Polo has mirrors 6 and 8 pin

well i mean, you need:

1 GND
2 Turn signal
3 heater
4 adjustment motor up/down
5 adjustment motor left/right
6 potentiometer up/down
7 potentiometer left/right
8 fold motor to fold
9 fold motor to unfold

this is not the pin numbers correctly but a list of what you need

So, if I understand, I need to buy any LHD mirrors (6R/6C), module K418 (like @ciclo: viewtopic.php?p=472068&sid=ce368af786d7 ... 5d#p472068) and switch 6R1959565 GREH? Is that all?

Is it better to buy window regulator motors instead module K418?

Window regulator motors:
6R0 959 801 BD Z0D
6R0 959 802 BF Z03
you got a PM!

6R at the beginning of production had two types of connectors (couplings) depending on the month of manufacture.

12-pin <--- November 2009 ---> 10-pin---> to the end.

No problem for this, you can swap the couplings and fixed the problem.

Yesterday I installed GSM antenna for premium bluetooth under upper A pillar trim piece.
This is impossible to install this like Golf 6:

because there is not enough space in Polo 6R, so I did it a little differently. I installed the antenna in a plastic cover:

I have used this antenna: http://www.carsystems.pl/gsm-antenna-fo ... id111.html

In this way it fits perfectly :)
