Are you sure ? I think I have asked this question before I had the option of the 6c units ?
A friend has some twin h7 units from a 6r, I suppose I could try those

Sounds like the 6R and 6C H7 lights are electrically identical, just a different shape bit of plastic inside the cluster making up the reflector.

To clarify:
In 6R from H4 to H7 Headlights (6R or 6C twin/dual headlights)

Ok so the headlights my mate was getting cheap have just arrived, they are the same as mine ! Mission aborted, unless I find a pair of h7 units I will just keep the h4 ones now, thanks for the help everyone, doesn't look like I need it now though.

Update (new picture)

Yet another update here, just got a pair of 6r h7 units, they need a bracket repair though, that's not a problem. I have ordered them from eBay also do I need two of the wires you linked to ciclo ? And also where is the j331 relay located and also the lights switch connector ? Is that the dash switch ?

Thanks ciclo however I am still unsure about it would I be correct to assume the relay is up behind the dash ? How do I get access ? Still unclear whether I will need one or two of the yellow wires linked to ? And is the light switch connector the dash mounted switch ? I know it's a relatively simple job but maybe I am unsure about where things are and descriptions etc

All yes. Only need a repair wire. It is necessary to remove the BCM, please use the forum search.

You must take your time and check everything before you do anything, if you do not feel qualified to do this installation you must hire the services of a workshop.
You need the famous terminal extraction tool.

Thanks again for the help ciclo I'll get the headlights and wire etc and have a good look at the job before I try anything if I think it's too difficult I have a friend that is an auto electrician and I'll get him to help, I will update when I get it sorted maybe expect a pm or two

Will 6C LED headlights fit a 6R H7 using this guide?
Or are the plugs different using the same as xenon plugs?
