Has it arrived yet? Not on the City of Rotterdam ?

I don't know. Spoke to the dealer yesterday and they said it had shipped but the name of the boat hadn't been given. City of Rotterdam has docked in Tyne this afternoon so I was hopeful it would be getting unloaded tonight. That boat went Santander>Sheerness>Grimsby>Tyne. VW live chat has just told me in it's on City of Paris. That left Santander on Sunday but it's currently steaming at a top whack of 15 knots towards Portugal Come on mr boat driver, that's the wrong way

If the app doesn't update tomorrow to say it's landed then it sounds like what VW said is correct and it's on City of Paris. The Scirocco, Eos and Sharan are made in Portugal so makes sense it's going to pick those up before coming back to the UK. It's due in Portugal 2pm Wednesday, so 12 hours in port loading/unloading and a 5 day cruise back to Tyne so might be there by early next week as long as it doesn't go anywhere else first. As long as it turns up before March

Boat now heading for Sheerness - at least it's going north rather than south now

It may call in at Grimsby on the way up I suppose.
Off to pick mine up from the dealer in half an hour.

My Skoda Superb came into Grimsby so I don't foresee an issue if the boat doesn't go to Tyne.

Oh well, at least you are being able to see "your" boat moving over a long distance, I just felt a bit cheated, getting all excited to start checking progress over a few weeks at sea, and ended up only finding it on its way from Belgium to Ebdem - almost 19 months on still slightly gutted!

Maybe I'll need to order another new car to see if I can do better next time, only joking!

The boat docked in North Tyne yesterday morning then it went to South Tyne last night. VW app or web tracker hasn't updated yet Hopefully the car is now on UK soil and is looking for a transporter north
