I am hoping I will be happy, the wife is envious already ! Just out of interest, I noticed that most Polo's have rear reflector in the lower part of the bumper with the exception of the R line, is this because this model has DRL's ? Please forgive my ignorance.

Purely down to styling. Different bumper on the R-Line. The reflectors are in the rear light assemblies. Nothing to do with the LED headlights and DRLs

The R-line is exactly the same but with the sport styling.
I would have bought one but did not for the soul reason that you can only have adaptive cruise control on the SEL and not the R-line or GTI due to the different bumper.

Picked up car this evening, not done many miles but great to drive.

that's really crazy, since the center lower grill on the R-Line and Blue GT are exactly identical. And the BlueGT does come with ACCOli3000 wrote:The R-line is exactly the same but with the sport styling.

Just had a weeks holiday not particularly driving for economy. However Peterborough to Bournemouth averaged 60.4 mpg last Friday and then Ilfracombe to Peterborough 59.7 mpg today.

Wow! I struggle to get above 50mpg on motorway journeys with cruise control at 75.
