have you got car mode installed on your phone?

i tried mine again yesterday and it actually "worked".

i still think that it wasn't worth the money that i payed lol

The G6 doesn't have a car mode.

It comes with Mirrorlink installed, and seems to know you have plugged it in to a car.

The phone has 2 options - auto connect and manual connect.

I have tried both of them, with no success.

I am happy to wait for the VW cable, even though I can't see it working when so many other cables have failed.

What phone are you using ?

Are you using the cable that came with phone or an after market one ?

Samsung s8 and just a random asda cable.

I'm still going to get android auto as then I can actually use Google maps as a nav when I need it.
