Ah, I have a few years to go yet, but I'll bleah all over you when the time comes

Tahrey, they were just AS's, next year I'll have 3 A levels (phys / bio / chem) and another AS (maths + mechanics)

PoloGTi, that sucks.. didn't you appeal it? My sister had appendicitis just before her A levels, but they took her predicted grades into account and adjusted her grades for her..

Pukka, two degrees? Impressive.. what are they?

I did economics & computing (b.sc) and high perf. computing & computation (m.sc). a bachelors and masters 'degree'... I think that counts as 2 rite(?).

Dang... I sure miss student life! Kind of envy you guys who are off to uni soon (don't envy the cost of it tho!). I'm sure you'll have a cracking time when you go!! Good luck guys/freshers!

thats only 1 and a half

naw i was just having fun with you both, i cant p*** on the chips of people who have put the effort in and done better - well deserved!

So it'll be like 3 and a half A levels (plus general studies?) next year, groovy...? similar to mine (there's also a D-grade maths AS level, but the rest of the results dont like to talk about him) ... keep the flag held high and go for a repeat!

I pissed about too much, didnt do enough revision at the right time(my fault) and got a B in Electronics, D in Physics and a D in Maths.
Got denied from The University of Nottingham, but got into my 2nd choice of Loughborough University!!!!! To study Physics and Management of all things!

Freshers week here I come!!

Well, it'll be three and two halves, if that makes any sense.. A levels in physics, chemistry and biology and AS levels in german and maths. Plus another A level in general studies, but it's not like that counts for anything.. might as well count my passes in key skills for all that matters :)

*head swims*

so.... like.... 5 a-levels all in? :D

i think GS is mostly for those kids for whom it's their only pass.... shows that they're still able to write at least

General studies is a good idea in my opinion, but as a way of broadening people's minds rather than an extra A level.. personally I think it should be abandoned as an A level but made compulsory as a subject, maybe an hour a week or something, because it's quite frightening how narrow minded some people who get good A level passes are..
