You'll never eliminate tramping completely on a torquey front wheel drive set up, the PS4s are massively better than the Turanzas for me though - tramping at 60% throttle rather than 25%. The actual grip (not traction) while rolling is massively better with the Michelins. I had the back end get away from me under light acceleration off a big roundabout (my path was almost completely straight) with the Turanzas in the dry. No chance of that happening on the PS4 unless ice was involved.

Some variants of the Golf GTI come with an LSD which massively cuts down on tramping by evening out the traction to both front wheels. I doubt you could retrofit one (is the means to plug in and be recognised by the Polo possible?), but if you could, it would transform the car from a standing start.

You may call yourself lucky when your wheels are spinning on launch control. Mine are hopping (265 hp) which makes launch control completely useless. It doesn't bother me much though. It's what you may expect from a light front wheel driven car with so much power. I enjoy a little in between sprint now and then. From standstill it still goes very quick, just a question of being e little gentle at the beginning.
