Holy s**t.

I used to be seriously scared of the normal spiders but I can just about cope with trapping them in a glass and dumping them in the bin these days. But HOLY MOTHER OF THE LORD! If that wolf spider thing, if I ever saw that in my house I would absolutly, I don't know. What the hell do you do with that.

Shovel time!

You seem to live in a bit of a country place criz. Are those spiders only in the country side? It looks like it's got massive fang things as well :S. Would that thing bite you?

*suddenly very itchy*

Also I remember reading in the Guiness book that the biggest spider ever found in the uk was 14cm. Some poor chap found it in his sink. Surely that one isn't far off?

Well I think they like to be left alone so generally u wont notice them. Probably most likely to be in your loft or under the floorboards.

A favourite place for them is warehouses. I think chances are you are more likely to bump into them if you live next to woodland.

Holy cr*p!!!! Look at the size of that thing! I'm not a huge fan of spiders, but by good I wouldn't hang around to see if it was friendly! Can you imagine the noise if you tried to hit it with a shovel!?!

break your wrists as well, as the spade came to a lurching halt a couple inches earlier than expected :D

What a nasty thought!! :( How far do you think you could get with a monster Spider with a space in its hand/claw/paw/ leg or whatever it is chasing you faster than your legs can carry you!! It's face would be like this I would imagine!!
