Similar to this, but much more involved and him using massive camera lenses to photograph the tiniest imperfections in the paint, with a view to going "back to the dealer with it" etc.
I've seen detailing threads before, I'm literally 2 miles from one of the most famous detailing companies in the UK (Polished Bliss), but this was different level.
I think i saw that, was that with Paul Dalton on a white Astra VXR Nurburgring edition? That was another level and bordering on the insane the level of detail they went into it.
I like my cars but wouldn't dream of doing that unless it was on a £100k plus supercar

That's the one.
Really, the guy was (IMO) being way too fussy for a mass produced car.

Credit where it's due that is one hell of a job - I bet the paint is a smooth as glass and the rest. 8)

Good to know it's protected once the rubbish weather starts to arrive, and should clean up quicker.

Just finished off the car, rewashed and then got to work on the glass coating.

Polished the glass twice with nanolex glass polish due to some quite heavy etching marks. Panel wiped off and then applied my go-to glass coating, Gtechniq G1.

3 coats on the windscreen, 1 on the sides and 2 on the rear. 15 min cure and remove with G2 before cleaning the glass down. Performance of this stuff is incredible

Replaced the the dealer plates with some metal pressed ones too, cars finally done!
