the p zero`s are ment to be the best pirelli going but i think pirelli just stopped making one of there tyres and ive a feeling its the zero

...and uhh what are you guys views on Michelins??? I had a set on my Clio, I sold my car with 14000 miles on the clock - had 'em test just before I sold it...and the guy said they were as good as new, only lost about half a millimetre of tread.

depens which michlin here are a FEW of the models they do (some recently discontinued xt)

e3b (both new)
pilot primacy
pilotsport
pilot exalto
etc each is designed for a different purpoise
also bf goodridge are owned by mich so you can add:
profiler
touring
then where i work we have an own brand which are made by mich they are :
norauto 3000 (discontinued)
norauto 4000 (discontinued)
norauto 5000
norauto 5000s (sports veraion)
the norautos are the only tyre i can think of that have a milage garentee (ie if you kill em with normal driving and no problems ,alignment etc, with in 50,000km then we will replace them FOC)
then theres winter tyres

Falkens are pure s**t, offer zero gip IMO and wear out in minutes.
Yokohama A539's are my main choice, all of my cars up until the Polo have run these, awesome grip in the dry, good/high grip in the wet. They do not wear as much as anybody says. Had them on my 120bhp 1.6 16v Nova and on my 160bhp 2.0 16v Nova. Both were driven foot to the floor, and after covering 9K miles they were still perfect, anyone whos driven a 16v nova will tell you about the wheelspin you get with them :p
Another great tyre is the Goodyear Eagle F1. Very Good grip in the dry, but they shine so well in the wet IMO. Really good tyres in the wet, very very progressive
