Tell them exactly what you are gonna do.

Might have to tell them the modification on the engine too but um..... people mainly keep the mods quiet... :lol:

and they dont inspect your vehicle modifications unless involved in an accident with death. :!:

some ppl tell everything to their insurance company.... :roll:

some keep quiet cus they cant afford the extra money they will charge :lol:

i asked my driving instructor b4 (hes a retired traffic policeman) and he said that big spoilers/alloys are not modifications, just "extras"...... :lol:

modifications are like increasing the bore of the engine, taking the cat out etc.....

i dont tell them.......because some companies dont like "extras" and charge a fortune more... :P

Some don't even insure you if you've "modded" do they?

Nothing gets damaged if you tune your car properly.

I'm not fond of just chipping a car.

Verhoeven tuning (a Dutch Volkswagen tuner) tunes 1.4 engines (normal aspiration or with a turbocharger).

They install a camshaft with a special grind and adjust your chip.

Combined with a proper air-intake I think it's possible to get 20 -25 hp more out of the engine.

the 1.4 16v engine was in the 6n2..... 75bhp model.. so i reckon it wuld work
