autosocks look like a cool invention though (having seen the site), how much did you pay for those ones, considering they're only guaranteed for about a 30 mile range? (wondering if it might be cheaper to lash a few old pairs of mittens to the tyre instead)
yeah leave it up - seeing as i've driven thru snow today and it's probably going to be hitting my area in a couple hours (trundling south) there's a good chance the whole country will get a little by tomorrow.
and i wish today was the day i took the polo out for a little cobweb-blow rather than later this week - astra was not loving it after about a half hour doing 50 through driving rain / sleet / hail / snow and high winds. Guess the high wind blasted a lot of moisture through the grille and bonnet seal, got on the leads.... suddenly i found i had to drop into 3rd to maintain 50mph as it was jerking something horrid in 4th and 5th... WD40 emergency! .... stupid flaky vauxhall... dub would have lapped it up, leaky passenger door or no leaky passenger door
