Im not really fussed on having a quick diesel - I prefer petrol for the 'fun' car as it were
The quick diesel route means having a bigger car too like a golf, a4, a3 etc, or a VRS but i cant say im struck on them.

Shame you had to sell the Edition Alex but I do have a soft spot for the new 6R's
What was the spec of the Edition when it went?

The eddy went as I had finished it minus a few little bits. I didn't have time to put it back to standard so sold it as it stood lol
I'll get some new pics up soon
Fair few updates on the GTI too...which I must also get in pictures!

I'm currently commuting in my 6N2 TDI, great little car and plenty of poke
fuel economy is unreal

TDI economy is where its at. Im getting 75+ MPG atm

So, thanks to Joe, I now have full colour concept leather fitted in the GTI
I also ordered up a 6N2 GTI heated seat loom from Kufatec, and modified it to work with the Mk3 heating elements as the electrics are quite different between the years with VW moving all the relay gear into the switches instead of under the seats
Couple of pics...

Switches installed
Seats all done
Considering its 18 years old, its in excellent condition, and I must say I'm very pleased with it

I don't think much more will change now to be fair. Its pretty much perfect the way it is
Did an oil change on the weekend, and need to replace the center exhaust section soon as its pretty rusty and the case is falling apart, but need some pipework fabricated onto the backbox so it can be joined properly.
