Ah okay. I think the systematic naming doesn't matter so much.
Perhaps something like VAO 059 480603316D

The idea behind it, is to give every battery a manufacturer, capacity and unique ID.
The serial number is used as unique ID, so it knows the battery has been replaced.

My factory coding as something like VAO 068 1111111111, they didn't even bother to give it a matching serial number.
Current battery is VAO 105 111111111

I think it gives you a 1111111111 when you reset it. Because mine is also set to 1111111111, but on an old log, there is a different number, but I can't find it anywhere on the old battery also. I have no idea where they've got that number from... haha.
I will just leave it at 1111111111.

I think it would be good to change it maybe to 22222222 or whatever, just to tell the system that a new battery has been fitted. This will probably reset the battery history/statistics.

Yes, long time ago. BCM swap. (it is not possible through mouse clicks )
In the BlueGT/Bixenon (factory) you also have to make some small changes in the wires (two wires IIRC) when you do a BCM swap.
