No, i have DSG. Loved it the other day. Zooming around country lanes in sport mode. Gears revving hard as they changed down. Exhaust was popping and fizzing away. Sounds so much more than a polo!

Re the media popping . Speaker fade too as Dink mentioned. I've even had it for just turning on ignition.

No exhaust pops from mine as far as I can tell! Still enjoying the car. I average around 40 mpg and touch wood no troubles so far (now at 2000 miles). The engine is so flexible and I can drop down to 4th and get away briskly when it would have been 3rd or 2nd in other cars. I had some brake squeaks to begin with but these have gone now perhaps just the brakes bedding in? Still only seen one other in Norfolk so far - what's the matter with people around here?

There'll be another in Norfolk next spring when I get mine; ordered last week, and dealer indicated a March delivery. I've seen 2 on the roads in Norfolk; a Deep Black Pearlescent 5 door and a Blue Silk 5 door in the Norwich area.

there will be another red 3 door one cutting about in Norfolk, as soon as I get home to pick it up. I've been lurking on here for a while but I saw Norfolk and got excited

Well, despite e-mail notifications this week seemingly advising that my build week had been put back to next week, I've just had a message to say that the car's been built and is now in transit!! Woohoo!! :D

Great news! I'm assuming you bought the car at Western?

Mines was the same.... email said week commencing 02/11 and tracker said 26/10, tracker was right as its now in transit :D

Bought it from barnetts in Dundee, made enquiries locally but they either never got back to me or didn't have one to test drive. Customer service at barnetts has been second to none so far, v impressed with them!

Good to hear. :)
My mate works in the sales team at Western and my son is an apprentice technician there, so they had no choice but to look after me! ;)
