Thanks Stuiemc

Still got the Porsche twists just took them off to re do them as when I got them there were a few chips in each wheel.

Just been very lazy about getting them sorted and the fact I had a little boy 6months ago he now takes up slot of my time.

From the dealer the calliper brackets are over £300  could of got some made up but saw them on eBay and for ease just got them as they were brand new.

Thanks for the comments. Always prefer to do things myself then I know they are done correctly

Ah I understand now I thought you just used the callipers from Cupra R and used custom hangers didn't realise they just bolted on with the correct hangers.

The Audi TT mk1 uses a single piston calliper.

This is what we use when upgrading to 312mm brakes.

Both the calliper and carrier.

The TT mk2 is 5x112 so this wouldn't just bolt up. Also not sure on the calliper and disc size as I haven't looked into these.

I've just bought a "GQM" for 800euros.
I wish I did a good choice.

Looks like you made a great choice.

It's making 2700rpm @ 75MPH 125mph = just a bit over 4000rpm.

very nice!
Do you think that it's enough for 500+ horsepower or I had to choose a 02M?

From what i have read it depends what you will be using the car for.

Track or street?

I know of someone running 350 bhp (150 short i know) and his box handles it.

I suppose there is only one way to find out.

You may want to look into this for some peace of mind. Strengthens the gears.

Guys i know running bigger power tend to freeze the gears as per the link so this should certainly help.

They mainly use their cars on track so sounds like it works and is worth doing.

500Hp is a bit much for the gearbox.
i knew someone who had 455Hp on his 20VT and the gearbox could not handle the power at all.
every time he wanted to pull it it got broken.
350Hp is no problem, he did run that power on stock gearbox and internals also, nothing happend with engine or gearbox.
afterwards he got the gearbox strengthend and it still broke down (just not as fast as before)
so it need to be upgraded anyhow, but it must be done pretty good to handle the power.

well lucky for me i wont need to worry about this as i don't intend on going over 350 with the polo and the MK1 4x4 i am building has an 02m which can handle more power
