The wheels will be done at the same time just along list of bits to get and il be ready to put it back together

Colour coded door mirror bases, cam belt cover and pipe work on the intake coded to will look amazing.

Funny you say that we were talking about painting the mirror bases but weren't sure if it will look good or not may grab a spare one and try it I've got a lupo engine cover which will cover 90% of the bay. Il be doing the engine bay probably next year if I keep it build a new engine and look into smoothing and trying to hide parts in the bay

As an alternative to colour coded mirror bases, how about gloss black bases like the latest Mk7 Golf and a couple of the Audi's?

The only reason I haven't done it to mine is my car is black so I think it would silly.

Did you see the red GTI in the camping field on polished 3SDM wheels? That did it for me too
