Just tried heating it up with a hairdryer. The adhesive that comes with it is very strong so it took a few mins to get it off. You got to be careful not to put too much stress on the plastic at the same time. Stick it back on with double sided tape

Get them off of "europlates" I think it was on ebay. £15.99 for a set of two delivered. Absolute bargain and they are very good quality, can't wait to get them on the car

Well thought I'd give a little update on the status of my car. My car finally got mechanically repaired just over a week ago. The garage had decided to make its own coolant pipe rather than order the proper one, so it started leaking. So phoned them up, gave them s**t and told them to get it ordered. Car is running fine now, it's great.

Cosmetically it still looks the same after the accident. My new bumper is waiting to be smoothed and sprayed. Luckily one of the guys on my local forum works for a bodyshop and has just got in a plastic welder! :D

Here is his bumper getting done...

His car will be ready on Tuesday so I will get to look at it. If I like it then I'll be going ahead and booking the car in for middle of next month (when my placement/exams are done). He said it will cost around £500 for both bumpers, but it will be worth it if it's good quality.

I was wanting to get my stone chips and stuff sorted but may just wait til next year (when there will be more to fix lol). Anyway I just want to get some performance mods on the go. Still owe my parents £300.

The car cost £890 to get mechnically fixed. £180 for all my trim and it would be £100 to spray the front bumper at most garages. So my accident cost has come to just short of £1200. I might as well of had the money stolen and if I knew it would end up costing that much I would of went through insruance. It still pisses me off thinking about it, especially when I saw the pics of my car the day before the accident. Soon she'll be fixed though and looking better than ever.

Watch this space! 8)
