Eventually I got the 1K8 mirror to work, but it was not reachable by VCDS anymore. It gave an error in the gateway.
This is because the 7E0 BCM needs it in the instrument cluster canbus network, to make the highbeam assist work.
But to approach it with VCDS and to program it, it needs to be in the powertrain canbus network.
We only found out the coding, after ciclo already bought the 7E0 camera. and the 7E0 mirror is approachable by VCDS all the time, and works all the time too.

To be honest, I prefer the look of the 7E0 mirror

I agree with you.
I imagine ciclo when he was creating new wires like this:

I do not know, it is possible in T6? I can see it in the codes, I can send you the t6 autoscan if it helps you in anyway?
Thank you, at the moment is not necessary.
Can you help with coding to get mirrors to fold on key? Which number in LC do I need to change?
Folding mirrors is a long story.
T5 have no the same units, even with 6R door units the coding is not the same for everyone with 6R. Depends on firmware of door units.
Try the following:
First you have to save the factory coding of door units (in case you need later), then try to make changes to the bits of the last byte. (Byte 2) Good luck!
You should always check that you do not lose any function when you introduce new coding changes.

P.S. I mount the VW Golf MK7 RVC camera with the VW Polo emblem!
Excellent! thank you very much for the pictures and details.

IMHO it is better in all respects, ...to be honest.
Between today and tomorrow I hope to discover new things for... , difficult but not impossible.

Why didn't you buy a longer piece of tube so i coul reach one of the drain holes that is allready in the polo bootlid???
You just need to remove one ove the plugs... I wouldn never void the rust waranty like that.

Hi ciclo, I have assembled these LED bulbs for turn signal.

When I connected the front bulbs (with resistance) i had no problems and the instrument panel had no abnormalities, but when I connected the rear indicators (without resistance) the arrows of the instrument panel flashing faster.
What could be the problem? I have to make the ECU update?

You need resistors for the back bulbs aswell.

I painted hole with the VW editing kit. It is OEM.
PS: HBA work without MFA+ cluster?
@Ciclo: Have you decided a different position of the mirror?
Upper position is best?

HBA only will work with MFA+, I guess.
6C and 6R windshields are different in the area of sensor. Placement depends on the area available to make works properly the sensor with the wiper. Nothing more to consider.
I used the original area available of 6R windshield.
Take a look at this page.

Hi ciclo, you can take a photo of the skirt's adaptator. Number 12 in the picture.
Because I'm trying to figure out how to install side skirts. Thanks

You can use silicone glue or glue to glass instead of screws

If you want to retrofit the side skirts, Volkswagen also used the glue to glass instead of drilled holes in the thresholds. Thresholds can quickly rust, so my local dealer always use only glue / silicone glue. It is safer and holds very strongly.
However, if you want to install retaining strip with screws, look at this:

Thank you CNK, I have seen pictures but I still have a doubt. there is a point of attack that hasn't been reported and I would have live image "if someone has it" of this point.
