As an aside, does anyone know if there is limit to the size of the sd card that can de used to store music?

I happen to have my manuals in front of me right now as I'm still looking things up!

In the footnote at the bottom of page 23 of the Composition Media manual it says:

"SD cards up to max. 2GB, SDHC memory cards max. 32GB and SDXC max. 256GB. It may not be possible to play all files if the size is larger than 64GB."

It definitely seems to supports every file format, bit rate and file system so no worries there....

Amazon have a Sandisc 32gb sdhc for £6.99, I'll order one now

Why not get a 1Tb passport drive and hook that into the music system via a usb, this should get around the SD card size limit, then you can have a huge amount of music

The Delphinus Leader has left PE and her next stop is Vigo in Spain, those of us whose cars got built in the last week or so look like they could well be on their way!

As of 4pm yesterday(my dealer emailed me my weekly update) my car wasn't showing as on a ship so I don't think my BW 12 car had already left PE but I suspect it might have overnight.

Finally just had an update. Car built and in transit.

I have also just had a text to say progressed to stage 5b: in transit: shipping. Thought it was on Glovis Spring. What does 5b imply?. Shipping to UK? (car built 3/04/19 but really built week before)

Mine is 5a. I won't be following it on a ship. Just want to switch off from it until it arrives.

I would imagine yours is already in Emden.

Word of warning, speaking to my dealer yesterday afternoon and he told me the GTi+ demo that they have finally been able to get has been sat at Grimsby for 21 days waiting for a transporter and they have been having issues getting cars to them for a while now once they are in the UK!

Also had an update this morning.

My tracker says 'Your car is on the next stage of its journey to the UK'.

Just got an update from my dealer today....
The car is off the production line, vin number allocated and is being prepared for shipping...
WOW... 28th of January 2018 was the order date.... So 14 months of waiting.
Let's see how long will it take them to get it delivered.
Wish it was a car made in South Africa, but unfortunately it came of the production line in Spain.

My SEL has just gone from 5 to 5b in transit...any idea what this means?

These are the tracker stages for the Golf - assume stage 5b is the same for the Polo as Polos also arrive in the UK via Emden;

1: Processing order.
2: Order with the factory - parts are being ordered and are awaiting supply dates.
3: BW confirmed - all parts are at factory and vehicle has been scheduled for build / a confirmed a date for build is issued.
4: Build in progress.
5a: in transit: left the factory.
5b: in transit: shipping - at Emden waiting a boat.
5c: in transit: nearly here - on boat to the UK.
6. Arrived in the UK - awaiting transportation to the dealer.
7. At dealer - for PDI and delivery to customer.

Spoken to my dealer and he seems to think my car headed for a ship around the 13th March but was unable to say which one.
Has anybody else been given a similar "to ship" date that might know which ships were leaving SA around that date?

Edit: Don't worry, I might have found the answer myself with a bit more thorough searching.
Glovis Spring left on that date.

Mine left the factory on the 3rd of March and was on the Glovis Spring. Hopefully yours made it.

Have you had any updates this morning on the tracker?
