It appears that thee is already a PD160 intake going into the air box so no restrictions

curious about the power it's going to get.
as for the cone filter in the box, it's about the best thing you can do.
the hose to an from the box aren't restrictive at all and it keeps teh heat a bit away from the cone.
verry good build up there!
(there is one restriction in the intake pipe to the airfilter box, but this can be cured with a Seat cupra D intake (or cutting it away) but everybody knows about this i guess

)
Thanks Turbomier.
And yes I do have the PD160 intake on the air box

Congrats on the build mate! Looks like you have all bases covered
Just a quick question about the Removal of SAI pump, N249 and N112. How many resistors did you need in the end?
Cheers.

Thanks for the comments VWindahouse.
You will need 3 resistors in total. You can find these on ebay. (the gold coloured ones)

Be aware your engine management light will appear every so often but you can have this mapped out.
Not sure if your car is mapped already and if it is what software you have but i found R-Tech in Leicester to be very helpful and quote me £60 to amend my Revo stage2 map to rectify this issue.
I am visiting them on Tuesday next week so will be happy to report back once i have had this done.

Sorry another question about the rods, did you choose them to be rifle drilled and did you get the calico coated bearings?
Thanks again

Ok small update.
Finally got the diff fitted to the gearbox so swapped the gearbox over and fitted the new flywheel and clutch.
Also changed the rear spring rubbers to lower the rear another 10mm. Thanks to Shabar on here for pointing this out to me
VW polo rear spring rubber on the right and Seat version on the left.
Dual mass flywheel off
Old and new flywheel
New clutch and flywheel fitted (note gold coloured bolt on water pipe. I added a spacer between the block and water pipe so it doesn't sit on the silicone turbo pipe any more

)
Here are some pics of the mods need to get the 6 speed box in
Small modification to the chassis leg
Small modification to the box itself
So this bit fits
And this is the reason things have slowed up. But i wouldn't change him for the world
