Random/stupid question for those who have also financed their cars...

I've been sent my documents to sign (I live far away from the dealer) and am slightly confused about where on the VW Finance agreement form (page 1) where you sign, it asks below for signatures by a witness. Can I confirm that anyone is okay to sign this?

Also, in the PDF I received there are two copies of the VW Finance agreement (it's the five page part). Am I right in thinking that one is for me to keep and the other is to send back, or does the dealer actually need two copies?

I would query these things with the dealer but I need to get this sent out first thing tomorrow morning and would need it signed before heading to work. Plus you guys are generally more helpful

I would say the witness signing is normally not a family member or someone that lives with you but that could just be for things like passport applications or more confidential things if you get me so I may be wrong normally you keep a copy yes I would send both if your that bothered about time consumption just in case, or send one and they should be able to photocopy it anyways if they need 2

In a different note I picked up my car today not really got any pics as I had to rush to work but my girlfriend got a quick snap

Side note, has anyone opted in for the service plan?

Iv took the service plan adds to the value in my opinion, yes I was supposed to be getting it Monday but they couldn't get it ready in time and after two hours today at the dealers i had an hour before work as I was working a 2 - 10 had a little drive tonight and I have to say coming from a 1.2 polo r line style 60 bhp to a BlueGt 150bhp it's is amazing can't fault it in any way I was sceptical about the sound system as I couldn't believe that a standard system would be good enough for me but it is I underestimated it and the power gain from what I'm used to is unreal build quality is great and the tech on it is perfect for me unfortunately the roads around me are muddy and wet so it's not stayed clean haha

Nice write-up and photo... but way too brief, lol. I should be picking mine up in 2 weeks, but tha wait is becoming unbearable. Please post more pix asap

I'll be posting some today when I can get it to thaw out haha freezing here and a little snow, by the way @thefrog iv just checked and I seem to have a draw in both passenger and drivers side seats don't think the dealers knew they were there and I wouldn't have if you hadn't have said something haha yes it's only brief because of the lack of time iv had with it, does anyone want any specific pics or any questions ?

Just a few pics , one of the door cards which I think are really nice look quite high end, there is so much stuff in the head unit could spend hours just flicking through it all, as iv gone with black I'm glad I got the tinted back windows with it just adds to the look,
I think it's going to take me a while to get used to the buttons on the steering wheel especially while driving iv only used them while stationary at the moment, so we will see will add more pics and descriptions in the next few days going for a good drive on Saturday

What are those two spots on the top right above the infotainment system? Normally i see other/empty buttons there.

Looks cracking though. Love the interior! Especially the steering wheel!

I don't quite know I'm guessing card holders which is good for me as I normally loose my card in the car as I'm waiting to put petrol in haha

Yes, those slits are for cards - if you have the heated seats and/or the active suspension, the slits disappear.

Any more photos of the menus, setup, radio, etc. would be most gratefully accepted. Thanks for taking the time to post the ones you have

Also, are the light grey strips in the seats real leather, leatherette, vinyl..?
