Wow, amazing job. Thanks for sharing.
I read on your last post "Then using ODIS-S online we tried to program, but due to new policy by VW, the used cluster reprogramming online was blocked."
I need a piece of information about that. Three or four months ago, i have tried to swap my Cluster on my 6C Polo. It wasn't a succefully procedure, we managed to remove the Component Protection, but we did couldn't manage to programm the remote keys. So we putted back my original Cluster. Nowdays i am planning to swap the BCM with a new one and after that i will try again to swap the Cluster. Will I have a problem trying to change the Cluster?
As far as I know, VW has blocked online programming of used clusters from year 2020 I think, I am not sure. Someone who knows can share the further details.
Your 6C is totally different from 6R. If you have successfully removed the CP then I think there is hope for you in swapping cluster. You somehow need to transfer immo data (CS/PIN etc..) from your existing cluster to the cluster you are planning to install, so that the immo data of ecu and cluster are matched and adapted and learning keys. Better to consult some experts with powerful programming tools like Abrites/ VVDI/ MaxiIM608. Nothing is impossible..
Good luck

Milestone achieved!!!
100000 km up.......On a long journey...
.... whose conclusion is uncertain
DSG7 DQ200 has been sublime. Even though it has earned bad reputation worldwide for its unreliability.

Small updates:
New OEM logo from Polo 6 AW. Thanks to iichel
New OEM chrome Door handles:
I purchased the silver coloured full set and got them repainted to body colour at dealer. The irony of this upgrade is that I had to import these door handles which are manufactured in my own country... reason being the price, I got the full set at the cost of one door handle sold here.
Few more major upgrades coming up soon..

New mod: High Beam Assist (HBA)-- Success!
Background:
I had previously installed a Skoda rapid windshield with square bracket for RLS with square type autodimming IRVM( see pictures below). Lately had few stone chip cracks on windshield. The windshield replacement was due for some time. I decided to install new windshield with round RLS bracket this time and the idea of retrofitting HBA was born.
I had to part away with this setup which worked well for me.
The new type windshield(6RG845011AL NVB) was installed at dealer. This windshield has tinted sun strip with green glass. It was installed in latest facelifted Polo in India.
HBA parts:
HBA Mirror+ covers:
I decided to buy new expensive frameless mirror from German store, even though used mirrors were available for reasonable prices. You want your IRVM to be perfect, as you frequently look at it while driving and any imperfections will stare at you all the time.
Stalk:
This one I bought used at a throw away price from a German seller. The sellers of both HBA mirror and stalk were unwilling to ship to India. Heartfelt thanks to my Romanian friend, who helped me in getting both parts.
RLHS: 5K7 955 547
Bought from AliExpress, this was the last shipment I received from ali before it was banned in my country.
Upon instructions from dear Master, I prepared the wiring harnesses for HBA.
Modifying HBA mirror covers:
As the HBA mirror was not designed for Polo, obviously its covers won't suit Polo. Inspired by the firegrafik's post on drive2.. I used the covers of both HBA mirror and Polo mirror.
The bottom cover of HBA mirror doesn't need any modifications. We take the middle cover of Polo and tweak it a bit to lock properly into HBA bottom cover.
After tweaking, the Polo middle cover locks snugly into HBA bottom cover.
I had to additionally tweak the Polo upper cap which fits into headliner. Also I had to retain the upper cap of my previous mirror to hide the hole I had made during previous IRVM installation.
The final result.. very much acceptable
RLHS fixed:
I did not had to do additional wiring for RLHS, the 3pin connector is same for both square & round RLS.
The HBA mirror uses 8 pin connector, my previous IRVM had 6 pin connector. So I bought 8 pin connector.
The pinout of HBA mirror.
T8c/1=+15
T8c/2= GND
T8c/3= Can-h
T8c/4=*
T8c/5=*
T8c/6=Diode GND for dome light
T8c/7= No pin
T8c/8= Can-l
* = Probably output for autodimming side mirrors on select models.
I ran into an unexpected problem during T8 connector wiring. The T8 connector with wires plugged in refused to lock into HBA mirror coupler. The pins inside the HBA coupler are thick and wider for MQS pins mouth to lock in!! Sigh... hit a roadblock.
Lucky me.. The quadlock connector for aftermarket rear camera which I installed previously had wires with MQS terminals with wide mouth. I used them as repair wires and now the T8 connector locks perfectly into the HBA mirror coupler.
Probably this is the correct terminal, but I couldn't find the OE part number.
I got this end result after completion of wiring with mirror and RLHS installed.. I am happy with the outcome The new frameless mirror is a welcome change to my cabin, adds class!
After completing wiring, I activated address 20 in gateway list. Also activated BCM adaptation channels 53&54. Master ciclo provided me the BCM as well as HBA mirror coding for my installation, very kind of him...thank you dear master Latest autoscan after installation and coding:

Finally got the HBA icon in IC and I say HBA works perfectly under predefined conditions.
I got an persistant error hanging in BCM after coding change for HBA.
After little experimenting, it turns out that BCM sees the new RLHS installed but swears by above error and demands the new RLHS(humidity sensor) to be on the Linbus. So after activating BCM Byte8, bit5.. BCM is happy.
This new RLHS (5K7 955 547) doesn't has label files for coding in VCDS, so it remains a grey area to code it wishfully. My previous Square RLS had all the label files so that I could code it to my taste. And also I have my reservations regarding the benefit of having added humidity sensor in our 6R. I can say from experience that the similar RLHS 5Q0 955 547C installed on MQB cars clears the fog from windshield instantaneously.
I made a short video of HBA working, sorry for the video quality and shaking as I was recording with left hand and driving with right hand.
Due to crappy camera of my phone, the OE bixenons output looks dim in the video, in reality the output bright.

Unrelated:
My little 6R is nearing the end of mod cycle and reaching its logical conclusion. Everything possible in 6R has been achived. I don't hesitate to say that I am proud of my 6R, a gem crafted with my own hands with the help of wonderful friends. There is one penultimate mod remaining, which I am going to finish soon. Sooner I am going to part away with my little 6R.... will talk about this more in my last mod After sleepless nights, may be I have found a worthy successor to my little 6R. Details coming soon
My next penultimate mod for which dear iichel is helping me a lot. PR -1KT + 8Q3

Great update on you car,
made almost the same update to my car a few weeks ago .
*also looking for labels on the same sensor.
You have a great polo , but all good things come to an end.
We are waiting for the next project car ! Lets hope for the best !

Bravely, Ross-tech made/make labels based on the factory coding for RLS, which unambiguously code the RLS (or the many different acronyms used for these sensors - RLHS, RLHSS, RLFS, etc).
It is a good starting point, although not for all and the infinite models that the VW Group sells.
In this way, the thresholds of light, rain and humidity are perfectly defined as they are from factory (Bytes 1 and 2).
On the other hand, these VCDS labels for RLS sensors allow you coding the Byte 0 in case you want to activate the 'Rain closing' function, the 'Rain Light' function (other function of Auto-lights), or the 'Highway Light' function.
But it is important to note that all these functions for PQ, or for example, many other functions in MQB are completely dependent on the BCM -and subsystems- and its capabilities (coding/adaptation).
In the MQB there are quite a few BCM adaptation channels dedicated to these sensors that directly activate the functions, ... in fact, the coding in the RLS of some of the functions mentioned above is not even necessary.
Much has been written in many forums about these sensors, and sometimes, depending on the level of equipment installed -SW/HW-, activating any of these or other functions not mentioned, is a real nightmare in terms of the procedures used.
As you know, I have always been fortunate to find the right procedures to activate all of them on any platform... including the PQ25, mentioning that I never struggled/fought with light and rain thresholds.
It is logical that everyone has their personal tastes for these thresholds, but believe me that the factory originals codings are the best, ... even if you think that the lights come on too soon or things like that (the factor of being seen, is also very important).
VAS, original tool, only offers binary or hexadecimal coding without any info/description for these sensors.
Enjoy your HBA mirror!

Thank you for your detailed insight into these RLHS sensors, I always get something to learn from you everytime dear Master.
What is your experience with humidity sensor on our PQ25, does it work or just a placebo effect?

I summarize it for you: β¬
Little or not at all effective in a vehicle without a Start/Stop system.
We could say that these vehicles (7L3) do not need the humidity sensors because the air conditioning system never stops working or is not influenced by the reduction of the established performance.
Humidity sensors serve to alleviate the circumstantial conditions of fogging on the windshield, etc, in vehicles with the Start/Stop system when the engine Stops and the 'vehicle' manages the consumption of electrical energy, which is drastically reduced.
The 6R air conditioning system called 'Climatronic' is good, but it is mono-zone, so its effectiveness is conditioned for demanding tasks. More advanced air conditioning systems, bi-zone, tri-zone, etc, are more effective in these 'automatic' tasks.
If the climatic and environmental conditions are ideal for the misting of the glass, there is no air conditioning system (bi-zone, tri-zone, etc.) of any type of vehicle (7L3 w/o S/S, or 7L6 with S/S) that is capable of avoid this circumstance in automatic way, ...no matter how many humidity sensors the vehicle has installed.
Look at your index finger or any other that is useful in case you have lost it (not too much, your wife can think you are stupid), now look at the climate control buttons, and if you see that there is a button for the windshield (MAX), press it if necessary.
The fact that there is such a button or the one dedicated to the rear window makes us reason about the defogging of the windows and consequently about the effectiveness and tasks of the humidity sensors.
Logically, the algorithms for these functions improve with the passing of time, also the ideas of where and how many humidity sensors to install.
Having two humidity sensors, one inside and one outside, is more effective.
I installed an additional external humidity sensor in my wife's Golf (with S/S system), which together with the factory internal humidity sensor control these climatic/environmental circumstances more effectively.
For example, due to the great efficiency of the Golf's bi-zone climate control, humidity condensation inside the windows is faster than in 6R, but since I installed this external humidity sensor, said humidity condensation has been considerably reduced.
Finally, comment that in the climatic zone where I live, one of the best in the world , these sensors are not essential, so they do not cause me any additional concern, it just seems curious, entertaining, endearing, and even fun.
