Do you think it’s possible that cars from different ships could get on the same ship at Emden? So for instance, my car should be arriving in Germany today, could it possibly get on the same ship as cars that have been sitting at the port for a week or so?

Definitely yes. There's a set of ships that do the SA to Emden round trip (picking up and dropping off all sorts of cargo at ports along the way), and a set of ships that serve each of the 3 UK ports that bring VWs to us from Emden. There are generally 3 ships that serve Tyne - they drop off VWs at Tyne from Emden (as well as other marques) and pick up Sunderland built Nissans to drop off in Finland, stop by Tyne on the way back to pick up more Nissans, which they drop off in Amsterdam on the way back to Emden for more German cars.

The Glovis Spring was in Vigo for around 9 hours before heading to Emden.

11 days and counting with car still sitting in Emden. I take it with Easter approaching we wont see any movement till near the end of the month.
Its to go to Perth so I take it comes into Tyne?

Wonder if there's any chance that our cars are in the UK but the app just hasn't updated...
