Probably would yes... It's an expensive feature to choose the DCC just to swap it out with another suspension... The dampers on your car now is the main component of that system. Won't work without them.
Didn't plan to change it when i ordered but can't sell the suspension so might as well use it

but maybe not then
If I had spent money on the DCC I wouldn't... If I had plans to lower the car before I had ordered it I would have gotten it without DCC.

I got 0-100kmh in 6.3 in the dry so I think so, not sure if the 0-100 in the figures is for a manual or dsg, though mine is a manual.
Top Gear tested it repeatedly at 6.2 0-60mph - faster than the Golf GTI they also tested. I think I've noted this earlier in this thread. Apparently the secret is avoiding wheelspin in gears 2 and 3 if you can:
http://www.topgear.com/car-news/hot-hat ... g-strip#19 Use the left and right arrows on the screens to see the other cars tested against.
I've just come in from a quick drive and it STILL puts a smile on my face when you put your foot down - and that's without activating the sports button. My observation of the sports button is that it seems to need about a mile or so for the suspension to 'calm down' and become just a little more compliant after activating the sports mode - otherwise it's all good!
Definitely does feel a lot quicker than my old fn2 civic type r, so glad I got the manual with the extra Torque .. Have the sports button which I haven really used yet, does this sharpen the throttle as well???

The throttle's already quite quick but yes, it does make it react faster in my experience - though if you've got the Sport button on you're probably already one gear lower than normal anyway, which makes the non-Sport button car take off anyhow. I've decided that the Sports button actually scares me a bit as it makes such a difference cornering that it's a bit like a strong oversteer as it pulls the car into the corners - this is fine if you've got space but a bit scary when the scenery is close already, particularly if the scenery is made of concrete... You need to try it out on some safer corners first so you can redial your reflexes. I'm just starting to use it more often now the car has about 5000 miles on it but it is a great feature!

Lovely gti! Can I ask is that the standard tint on the rear windows, or the sun protection glass? Cheers
Thanks, I'm pretty chuffed
Must be standard? I didn't spec anything for the glass.
You get the sun protected tinted glad from b pillars backwards as standard with the gti

Claying it should work Andy, followed by a decent glass polish.
Shame about the wiper judder

one of my favourite products. I'll give it a try and see how I get on.

Heres my ordering experience.
3 door manual in deep black pearl
Convenience pack
Light & sight pack
Winter pack
Climatronic
Ordered 17.10.15
Build week 16.11.15 (VW online tracker) but email said 23.11.15
Build in progress Didn't get any text or any email updates about the build
Shipped Got the update on 28.12.15
Arrival UK 09.12.15
Arrival dealer 11.12.15
Collected. 19.12.15
I could have collected earlier if I'd wanted but it was easier for me to go on Saturday, the salesman I'd been dealing with throughout was on holiday during the week too.
I was told 16-20 weeks wait when I put the order in so 2 months was a nice surprise.

Cheers, I did email angel wax, matt from them came back to me very quickly. He recommended removing by claying with their vision glass cleaner, heating the windscreen with car running then applying two layers.

Ooh exciting

I'm sure you'll love it
Had the day off today so I've had a blast out in mine, had to go back to VW as the number plate was slightly wrong - topped up my fuel and a bottle of champers for "inconveniencing" me.

Nice gesture for the inconvenience, but how did they get the number plate wrong ?

Let us know how the two compare as I still have a nagging doubt about my choice although I have no problems with the Polo but I am a bit of a sucker for car mag reviews which usually put the ST way ahead of everything else. The fact that you are taking out the ST for a final blast says something!
