Michael did you code the ECU with VCDS or you needed a different software/cable?

VCDS did the trick for me

If I open 01 engine there are 2 buttons: one is called coding or coding I (don't remember) and the other one is called coding II. If I open the first one I can access the long coding helper but there is not any byte description so I do not know what I'm actually modifying while if I open the second one it asks me for a security code so I can't actually access to it. Is that normal?

In Spain we are in a similar situation.

Of course I do of my own will, I just leave home to go working in these days because subways are still working, but trust me If I tell you some people must be litteraly forced because don't understand how bad is situation and continue going out.
