it says on the filter which way around it is ment to go, put the side saying engine on it facing the engine,ie the tubing that goes into the engine.

if you are finding it a bit quiet, it is the cold air feed restricting the airflow and performance of the filter. it is best to replace the cold air fee completely with some tubing that matches the diameter they supplied with the filter. also if you want to get an idea of what it will sound like, jst take all the tubing off!trust me its awesome!!!

yeah i took the tubing off before sounds niceee lol, but yeah i got it right now i think lol, sounds ok bit like a scooby (suburu) is that what you guys got with the bmc, all the pipes etc are all secure tightly.
