porsche wheels

thanks for that, the boxes state 50mm adapters is this suitable or do i need to return them? for smaller size adapters, i don't want the rims to poke out i like the look of the black polo and the silver one (polo5.de) plus i want to slam it if they poke out then tyres will catch??

i opened the box and realised they are 22mm (silly me

) box does say 50mm on the outside but thats for the two of them i checked the other box they are 22mm each, speedlaw what does that mean the et will be?

I think if you subtract 22 from the ET of the wheels that will give you your eventual ET.

JTS is right.

22 mm is common and should be just fine. So if the wheels are ET 52 you end up with ET 30 and that's more or less ideal. Anything from 25 - 38 is ok IIRC.

Wasn't totally sure whether I was right or not Speedy !.

I'm going to the Porsche Club GB show at the end of August so I will be drooling at all the rims for sale in the autojumble.
I owned a 914 for 9 years and my Dad has a Boxster so I still belong to the club.

Harry it's normally stamped ET** on the inside of the rim. On some wheels it's on the outside around the bolt holes.

Get some pictures up when you have the wheels on if you can.

I'm sure there's a few people here getting excited to see them on your car !

the et is 52.3 the adapters are 22mm so the final et is 30, i'm also gettin very excited (& broke...) i took the porsche centre caps to a metal polisher just now as they were lookin a little scruffy compared to the rest of the wheel they will be ready for the weekend...that mk5 looked trick..
