Mine is just loud all the time with the BMC. Before I fitted it I could only hear a definite change in note above 6000rpm where it sounded amazing!

its more of a pick up thats all you sort of get pulled into your seat. try pullin off from a stand still slowly let your revs get up to bout 3500 rpm then floor it you should feel it.
