the 150bhp turbo golf has what around 155lbft?
the pologti 125bhp cant have much more than 112lbft?

although any mk4 golf i've raced on the strip have been well sloooooooww

I took my g40 up on sunday 132bhp/133lbft and only 15.7 1/4's   1-0 to the lupo!
Surely the G can go quicker than that!!!

not with bald tyres / cold tarmac, broken wheel baring and a strong head wind. :)

maybe the rolling road was overreading?? in that case there would be a lot of dissapointed polo owners out there

next time i'll get quicker. even with that power though the lupo still feels quicker, the g40 feels a lot faster from 70mph though.

my 60ft's in the g40 were 2.6 at best and 2.2 in the lupo. 1/8 times also much better in the lupo 9.4 seconds i think the fastest, the g40 is closer to 10.4

it's still a pretty standard g40 and even those times prove it would whoop a polo gti, even a lupo gti. with the same conditions i think a lupo gti would run just under 16.5 and a polo gti as usual would struggle to get under 17 seconds. im talking about standard cars now and i've seen enough of them at santapod to know the times they run.

You got that and you also got to consider 30-50, 50-70 times etc
