G60 defo wont fit, neither will any golf box. G40 box is the same box, albeit with dfferent ratios. Not sure if there cable change either. But no, they wont be any stronger.

You should check if they sourced a reconditioned one or a remanufactured one. In a recon box, they only replace whats broke. In a reman box, they replace everything the could break (ie all the bearings).

I'd never use a recon box and only a reman box by vege if i was unable to have done it myself (i had someone with lots of knowledge helping me!)
