GTI engine i have is on 50k but car is prob on about 65k now.
As far as i am aware, original gearbox.
The gearbox went on the 1.4 8v at about 45k

nope seems to be fine for now, don't know if it has been changed before or not, i'll be truly amazed if it's still on it's original box
