Thanks for the quick reply Alex. I'll have to see if I can find the right parts and get a friend who's a bit more of a car expert to help me replace them.

Hi guys, I am struggling to find this. Not had the polo long and can't find a pic of the location, or a video or nowt

It's to the right hand side of the engine. If you follow the top radiator Hose towards the engine you'll be at the thermostat housing
