Happy days mate!!!

Thats as a bargain.

Im just making the final decsion on whether on not to buy the one i was looking at or not now.

That exhaust problem is worrying me a bit, if it wasnt for that i would go for it without a doubt like.

What sorta alloys are you thinking about?

My mate has bbs solitudes on his 1.4 16v which look the dogs balls but they are so hard to get hold of and he wont sell them - i even offered him 350 quid and he still wouldn't sell lmao and they need refurbed.

Im just gona get a set of cheapo wheels lyk. I really wouldn't spend anymore than 300quid on a set. infact there a guy around the corner from my college who has an se with wheels very similar to the ones your after but its been laid up for like two years so i mite go and approach the owner and see if i can them of him, he mite even do a wee exchange for the steelies on mine, seeing as the cars not going anywhere anyway for whatever reason.

I love the colour of your car though, that blue looks sweet.

When are you going to get it all fitted and sorted out then?

Are you gona post some pics when you get all the work done?

My dad got called out last nite, hes a fire man, so i never got to talk to him about it whether or not to buy it so i called my uncle and got him to hold it for me and he said he would it hold it until tuesday.

So atleast that gives me abit more time to think about it.

Does your car have rust on it anywhere?

the one i was looking at has rust below the doors in the sills, the rear arches and two little scabs above the windsreen unfortunatly. Hopefully they wont cost too much to put rite lyk.

I was gona have a go at it myself but i dont wana make a mess, but iv gota learn somewhere.

If it were you, would you go for the wee car or would you look for another rust free example with out the all the faults?

Well that was my argument tbh.

At worst there would be a whole new system required to cure that stone in tin can noise at idle noise and thats only gona cost 150 - TOPS.

As for the sill i am just worried incase its so bad that when i tackle it, it will just push through, like its just bubbled and flaked away at about the size 1.5inch diametre circle, but i dont wana have to fork out for a new sill...

If worst was to come to worse what are these expensive to replace, or what is the liklyhood of this actually happening?

Also my dad said about the red paint blooming whilst drying. Is this true and how do i prevent it?
