Does anyone know where I can get a grommet to fit the rear window where the wiper spindle sticks through? or even the size needed?

The one for the 6N2 is 25mm, and got it from halfords for less than £1. not sure if they're the same size though.

lovely car, thats the colour i wanted my car in :(
do them TT pedals fit directly on or need to be screwed in?

Brake and clutch pedals fit straight in, the accelerator pedal may need adhesive depending on what type you get.

They are a bit of pain best if you soak them in hot water first

The part number I ordered was 8N1 064 200 that was for all three pedals

Just make sure the accl pedal is part No. 8N1 721 647B

Love it chewy, the wheels are great, would personally make it lower...

Thanks, coilovers are on the card for the summer, just need to sort my drive out so I dont bottom out getting on and off :D

Well finally got round to getting the coilovers fitted.

Couple of little problems

First anyone know what these are and where they go?

Then when I went to adjust them to a height I wanted found this on nearly every bolt hole

Needles to say am off back to the garage later to sort things out

Will get some pic up over the weekend .thumbup.

Woo cant wait to see what it looks like on coilies 8) Will be such a difference fron springs.... whats the ride like??

I cant find an allen key the right size to adjust the fronts on mine :( Gutted

The ride is fine, just need to sort the height out. Had a little rubbing on the o/s front. But gets on and off the drive fine :D


I will have an allen key in my tool box if you want to borrow it

Should hear the rubbing on mine round some corners.... :shock:. Its not as bad now ive refitted the arch liner so it sits better.

Im gunna gunna pick up 1 of those things from halfrauds later on if you fancy a de-wipering sesh sometime??
