I see, would 2.5" turbo back not be the same flow as any other ( excluding cat)? Are you not paying for the quality and the lovely noise witha miltek?

the downpipe maybe, but powerflow use free flowing exhausts so the back pressure isn't tailored at all so you more often than not end up losing power.

With Milltek you are paying for the quality, lovely noise and most importantly the R&D

yo man

no mate afraid they arent!

i put this up for them, and they said basically with the exhaust tips, the difference in sound is immense - only 2-3db - but end of the day, its milltek and they WILL be bothered about the noise levels etc for track days/law etc

so will be getting the 'jet' style ones!

got a call from them today, said that they have measured up - and everything is on! tomorrow is testing day and if im lucky i may get to pick it up! woop :D :D

R&D = research and development

don't worry mate, the only real issue with the powerflows is the back box, they don't use any baffles at all (i.e. free flowing) so it's just like a big empty can with a couple of drain pipes on the end

the custom downpipe and high flow CAT you can't really go wrong with!

I have full powerflow from turbo no cat , i must admit the quality is not as good as miltek but it was at a 1/3 of the cost! Also our engines need no back pressure at all really!! :)

seconded, the less back pressure the better on a turbo'd car

still i opted for the quality part though as money was not an option :D

today i picked up the car...

and omg how much power as a exhaust unleashed?! not sure if its the exhaust note to match the performance, but feck me it pulls a s**t load more and sounds immense!

ill get some videos this weekend on youtube!

on the other hand, the research they did on the car is in so much detail it was amazing, ive got a print out for emmisions, and with the full system, its only 0.06 difference - which is amazing in respect of what they have done to the car - its been transformed!

also with the noise level, its exactly how i wanted it, deep tone burble on idle - but not louder than standard - drive it normally, and its only a tad louder than standard - but stand on the go go pedal and thats where the quietness ends - it sounds just simply amazing!

now what you all want to know... they have now finished developing mine, they have a research car in germany that they are going to test on in early jan, to conduct full on noise level tests etc for the track

then they will go into production, then they will release, they will be in contact with me at this time so i will know more further into the new year!

if you guys are still up for a group buy, i'd be happy to sort this all out for you! spread the news though - the more people we can get, the cheaper it is!

vids and pics to come this weekend!
