I may be fitting a koni + H&R setup soon and i believe the drop links need to be changed

I just got a quote on mondeo drop links, locally they work out to about 18pounds each which sounds ok due to this being less than the uk pricing and i wont need to pay for shipping

What i would like to know if anyone has pics of these being installed?

Also the speedbox website doesnt seem to sell these items any longer

does anyone know the length of the ones shorter than the mondeo, i was looking into it at work a few weeks back and took some measurements of some that fitted some other cars etc and they were shorter than the mondeo ones. if someone can find a suitable measurement i should be able to work out which car they were off as i was looking at ones for some older jap motors which have the same style droplink but ranging from 150mm total length up to the size of the mondeo ones which are nearer 300mm iirc id have to check what ive got wrote down at work, its probably only these that the other companies are supplying anyway

right i have drop links on my car (ofcourse) dont have a clue what kind , ordered mondeo droplinks and turned out BIGGER than the droplinks on the car... any help before i go Feck it and get rid of anti roll bar altogether!

What year Mondeo links did you get? Metal or plastic? What year?

I got some 2001 ones a few weeks ago and they were about half an inch, maybe a bit more shorter than standard

Hey guys, I'm about to put some AP coilovers on mine & noticed some shorter drop links awesome gti was selling so bought them, seemed to be priced well, anyone used them before?

This happened to me to...

I just cut a section out of the middle of the mondeo ones and welded them back, worked out around 2" shorter than standard...

I bought mondy 2003 drop links fitted fine n worked well bit didny last too long need to be replaced i have ap coilies does anyone know of any performance ones to fit?

the mondeo ones didnt fit for me. im just running without them now.

Please can somebody help, i have HK AK street coilovers currently fitted and they have been for the past year.
Since fitting them they have always made the horrible 'clunking noise' when steering, especially with heavy steering.
I have fitted the shorter drop links and this has raised the driveshafts well away from the ARB yet the clunking persists.
It sounds like the springs themselves spinning around, someone at the local garage said it was something to do with the top mounts but they were tight :S im so confused and pretty dis-heartened please can anybody help me ?
