A man without his polo is like a knife without a fork...

Glad it got sorted, and 60 quid doesn't sound bad at all. I can bet you're very relieved it wasn't anything too major?

Hurrah, another one to stick in the big reference folder marked "sh** that has happened before" that we can pull out next time anyone asks :D makes everything easier..

So what does that mean exactly.. the metal conductor had fatigued away and broken up? Or the insulation wore off.... Whatever... the leads stopped working that's the problem!

Thank *insert deity here* it wasn't anything more serious.. happy Poloing.

Yeh its good to know it wasn't anything more serious. I looked at those leads a thousand times! Even went to A.R.E and asked them to reserve a set. They looked fine tho! But yep, been roaring around town today, ahh such a good feelin!

(Don't worry i haven't got one of those Scooby/Evo sounding but really a Fiesta, exhausts!!! Mines a nice deep purr, not too loud)

8) If you put a pinhole in the exhaust outlet just by the engine block, it starts to sound like an old skool beetle..... really does grate after a while though, i'm very happy with the "purring" sound instead, especially after it's been noisy a few weeks.
It's like a small blue metal kitten, or perhaps a baby lion. Or a wolf. Yeah. That's good. Purring like a baby wolf, if wolves purred instead of growling :P
