What's wrong with 5 doors?

I think 5 doors look just as good. I need 5 doors with a family.

I know just having a bit of fun. If I didn't have the need for 5 doors I would have saved the money and gone for 3 doors. I do think that VW do a great job of making both models look great.

5 doors 1 of the reasons were easy access for passengers and for me going from a golf big boot that i often filled up,so going to the alot smaller polo the back seat will be getting used alot more.
and regarding the headlights its booked in on tuesday to check the light levels but i was told the bulbs are std so i will be after a lot brighter set so if you know of any that are a straight swap over let me know cheers

If you want a straight swap for H7 bulbs I can recommend Xenon upgrades. I have replaced my std bulbs with Osram Nightbreakers which are claimed as being 90% brighter than std halogen. Philips also do some Xenons X-treme Power which I have in my golf but the Osrams are better. Ring also do Xenon max claiming 100% brighter but I have no experience of these. These Xenon upgrades are about £25 a pair and are well worth it.
Failing that if you want to go brighter then you could try HID kits which are more expensive but again I have no experience of these so I will let the forum guys tell you about the available kits and costs etc.

What was the outcome of the trip to the dealer? Also how are you getting on with the new bulbs?

The bulbs are loads better thanks for the info

the dealers

firstly dont forget i had all ready changed to the osrams blubs the day befor , so the car went in and both headlights were way out the both needed adjusting up as i thought by quite alot as i stood and watched him do it and then he said that the beam brightness is adequate and then i told him that i had replaced them both and he seemed rather shocked so i just told him now imagine what i have been driving with for the last 2 weeks , near darkness + i also found 2 blach square blocks of sponge both in a bag and 1 in each wing both full of water so i pulled thm both out and asked what the hell there were and why they were in my wings he looked at me and said sound proofing

and at that point i nearly fell over followed by " how gullable do you think i am " i wasnt a happy customer that day.
but still love the car

so now with the new bulbs and the lights both adjusted its great even in the dark.

No foam in mine might be worth asking the dealer if this should have been removed at the PDI, but it sounds odd to me. I have never had this in any of my VW's in the past.
