You know what mate I don't think it's all that bad at all. And at the end of the day it's your car you own it and it's you who drives it, do with it what you want, I think the pirate theme could work well. certainly unique and different, don't change your ideas cause of some geezers narrow minded opinion,

Plus your nan would have wanted you to be happy and if pirates make you happy then oaaarr matey by all means carry on cause you obviously love it and I'm quite liking the car !. Specially that front badge !.

There is a difference between being unique and just plain stupid i mean as least have some design vision just looks wrong. its up to people what they want to do but don't expect any sympathy from anyone. I am not telling the person to change their ideas just one opinion. whatever floats the person boat don't go crying cause someone told you "my car looks stupid"
