Probably let it dry sand down and start again :) paints a nightmare and make sure you're doing it in a warm environment

The plastics on the dash are all oilbased so you have to really clean them, but your reaction is down to you applying the product to thick to begin with. Just dust the primer on and then use a hairdryer to warm it up and go semi dry then dust it again and again, less is more mate...... Take it all off and start again.. Other wise it will find the gaps again in your reaction and look poo....

Any other questions just ask mate......!!!

Unfortuantly I had to leave the GTi back home... and unfortunatly I didnt catch any pictures of the lets say less than impressive polos over in tenerife... just imagine bad paint fade, cheap tribal stickers, mix match colour bucket seats and young spanish guys with sunglasses and bling blaring out some cheesey 90s music sang in spanish lol It was quite a sight I must say... but to be fare on the other side of the island there was a very nice 6n parked up on the sea front, but the camera was in my bag in the boot of the rent'a'car... but now im back its time to spend some money on some coilovers i think :D

I know exactly what you mean dude, I was in Lanzarote a few months back and the state of the cars over there are shocking.
Polo's seem to be massively popular over there and I must have seen a good 25-30 6N2 Polo's and 1 GTI which was silver.

Sadly the hot weather conditions destroy the cars paintwork, most of them really were in a sorry state.
Most common problem was lacquer peel and faded paint, I guess the UK weather isn’t that bad after all .....

i noticed the same when i was in tenerife in june, almost all the cars i saw had severe laquer peel on the roofs no matter what age they were.

Yeah an air conditioned hidden away garage would be a must if you had a nice car in those conditions :)
