Nothing exciting, just waiting for some quotes from a couple of places before the exciting work can commence! It would help if they actually got back to me aswell, was hoping to get sorted last weekend but seems like it will be more next week now :?

Oh know really???? Just the outer shell respray hey??? Best to do abit of prep at home to help out the bill aswell ha.

Yeah just the outer paintwork. I think the standard pain is a bit too glittery looking for my liking! I've put away £1k for a decent job :shock:

Well, she's all booked in to get the stretched tyres fitted this Saturday, pics to follow! 8)

Exhaust will have to wait until the end of this month after the quotes for getting the original standard GTI exhaust supplied and fitted range from £440 - £590! :shock:

I'm just going to get a custom one made :D

The exhaust will be replaced in about 2 weeks time, then I'll be able to see how low she can go!.......... So more exciting-ness to follow! :D

Thanks! I've had these wheels for over a year now and they haven't got a mark on them but everyone is telling me to be careful incase I kerb them...... Which I probably will now everyone has put the thought in my mind!!!! :?

The wheels look so small now though and the gap between the arch and tyre seems massive now! But i can roll with it for 2 weeks! 8)
