That looks ace mate - I used to have a CW Edition 30 and after seeing a few of the lovely examples on here, I think I'd prefer a Polo GTI to the new Edition 35! 8)

Thanks all. Really happy with how its shaping up. Wheels are next, should arrive this week. So need to make the decision to keep them as they are or refurbish them how i want.

I dont live in Peterborough. I live in Birmingham. But i have had good experience with Jabba, so more than happy to do the 160 mile round trip there for any work to be carried out. Luke Schlewitz is also really nice, as are the rest of the family. 8)

The H&Rs are no firmer than the stock springs to be honest. However, the dampers are a bit crap on lowered springs. They bottom out a bit. Eventually some coilovers will go on, but they are a happy compromise for now.

Looks great Deako, are those the 35/55mm H&R? Sits really well, wondering how well 18's would fit as it sits so well on the originals

Cheers guys. Also remember, the front is on 15mm hubcentric spacers to clear the brakes and rear is currently on 8mm (all i had spare). The 15mm were originally intended for the rears, to make it sit better there, but due to the brakes needing that bit extra clearance i had to use them on the front.

The new wheels are 17x7.5 and ET35. So should sit similarly. Im hoping to not require spacers on the front at all.

Saw you at ultimate yesterday, only gathered it was you from seeing the brakes. Did anyone see the other 6R gti in the car park with gunmetal grey wheels and yellow fogs?

Couldn't get a space in the car park was too late as came from Brighton!!

It will be a custom setup. Being put together by Dave (vagbremtechnic.com). It will involve custom machine work, machining of the discs and other bespoking. However, once the kit is developed, it will be available to the masses.

The front conversion kit is £250 for brackets, lines and bolts. You then need to source Boxster 2.5/2.7 front calipers. Pads. 312mm discs. I also got some anti squeal shims and pagid cera tec anti squeal paste. So trying to do it properly and make it a reliable and quiet setup.
