Could you do me a favour and post a photo of how far the rear wheels are recessed? I will be keeping the stock wheels when my GT is delivered, but want to order some H&R spacers. I want to retain the OE look and don't want it to look as if there are spacers on it. I can't decide how wide to go (10, 12, 15mm..?).

Many thanks.

I like those black Audi tips - do you have a part number for them?

I've bought the chrome ones for mine, but as I'm getting another BGT in March, I'll not be putting them on this one as it'll be going back.

Yes, the code and the words for search that you can use to find a good seller

Have to say that this kind of exhaust tips are not easy to perfectly adjust concentrically, the metal bars are compressed irregularly while you are pushing. So, be careful and no hurries.

Next step, go to the dealer and pick up the 6C GTI pedal covers...and wait for the (OEM) door sills bought on eBay.
All plug & play mods :D

I went to my VW dealer yesterday to try to order a pair of tips, but the guy said there are several different references, even for the Blue GT, so he needed the chassis number to order the right ones for my car... which hasn't been built yet :)

I bet that you'll need the same part number as my new Blue GT (6C delivered 2 weeks ago) People like Ciclo know more than the guy after the desk at VW dealers.

Wow, now it looks like another car  (I know I'm so freak  )

This is an OEM cover for the towing bow under the rear bumper, as my car is white the contrast looks is big. It needs to be glued (easy to remove pulling strong just in case) and the seller on UK is "vwgolfparts4u"

Looks very neat, but couldn't you achieve nearly the same effect by painting the eye satin black? This would also leave it available for actual towing, which admittedly you hardly ever need... Just a thought :)

I went for the Golf IV way: pull the cover if you need to be towed (I've never been towed from the rear :? ... )

Fair comment. It does look a lot tidier, but I think I'll try some satin black stonechip on mine (which is also white) before I go down the cover road.

Hi!

I bought them on eBay, I thought it was a good seller and price.

Look for:
Original Volkswagen Einstiegsleisten Satz Polo 6R 2 türer Schriftzug Edelstahl (write a 4 instead a 2 if needed)

Cheers

Funny that your BlueGT didn't have this. Mine did from the factory. Must have fallen aff along the way to you. I'm sure it has been there.
